Leadership & Collaborators

Passion and camaraderie are the key ingredients to our culture. Another is our leadership structure. At R2, we believe in decisions to be made close to the level where their impact will be felt and aligned with direct responsibility. This distributed decision-making is carried out by two distinct groups.

Principals, Expert advisors and Associates -- people with proven technical excellence and leadership ability to perform essential project tasks, direct and manage projects, interface with clients, mentor other employees and support other parts of the company.

Managers -- office managers and vice presidents - support the success of our people. They provide the environment and tools that allow our workers to do winning work for our clients.

The selection of our Principals and Associates is something we take very seriously. These are professionals at R2 who have demonstrated outstanding trust, respect, and commitment amongst their peers and have contributed valuable leadership and business acumen to the company and to our clients. Recognizing their achievements within the company is just one way for R2 to ensure our ongoing capacity to provide our clients with the highest level of service and expertise.

Rico Levesque

Vice-President, Operations

Cofounder of R2 Employment Solutions and Vice-President of operations and finances. He is responsible for operations, finance and executive management of the company, As Vice-president, he collaborates and ensures the implementation of strategy, culture creation and corporate capital allowance. Rico has been in the human resources field for nearly 20 years

As head of operations, he leads and ensures the smooth running of services. The key elements of his role include ensuring the continuous development and the development of customer-oriented teams, he measures and clearly communicates performance indicators and implement strategies to increase the efficiency and quality standards while optimizing costs.

He is also responsible for implementing and maintaining operating and financial strategies in the short and long term to achieve the goals. It ensures the development of financial models for strategic planning and decision-making with respect to operational improvements and business development.

 

Rino R. Maltais

Vice-President, Business Development


Cofounder of R2 Employment Solutions and Vice-President, he collaborates and ensures the implementation of strategy, culture creation and corporate capital allowance. Rino has been in the human resources field for nearly 20 years.

The key elements of his role include assessment of the agency’s competitiveness, remain on the lookout for trends and innovations that affects our business interest and conducts research, feasibility studies and business plans for the improvement, development and customization of products and services.

He is also responsible for the continuous improvement of the company’s business model, the increase in profitability, to expand distribution channels and provide a vision for all sales and execution of marketing strategy.

 

Aline Johanns

Expert Adviser, Staffing & Strategic HR

With more than 25 years of experience in the fields of management and human resources, several of which at a senior level, Aline has a solid knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources. Translator by trade and holder of MBA from the Université de Moncton, Aline built most of her experience portfolio in the New Brunswick public sector, namely in health care. She held positions as Director of human resources and training in several regional hospitals before becoming VP of Human Resources for the Vitalité Health Network, a unionized employer with more than 7 000 employees.

Aline can offer support and advice in the following fields: setting up a human resource department or support to your existing HR team, HR planning, change management, succession planning, performance management, recruitment and staffing, position classification, HR policies, procedures, programs and tools and organizational development.

She also sits on the board of the Human Resources Association of N.B. – Northeast chapter and is Certified Resources Professional (CRHP).

 

Brian Duggan

Expert Adviser, Staffing & Strategic HR

A Senior Human Resource Consultant recognized as a competent advisor to organizational leadership in both the private and public sectors. Specific expertise in the areas of employee development, organizational change, career transition, wellness and employee assistance consulting.  Well organized and enthusiastic with high oral and written communication skills. Thrives in the busy, active delivery of service. A Certified Human Resource Professional and a Certified Canadian Counsellor.

Janna Hare

Expert Adviser, Staffing & Strategic HR

Jana is a senior consultant based in Moncton. Janna worked for the Korn Ferry Hay Group (2012-15), a global organizational consulting firm. They help companies design their organization - the structure, the roles and responsibilities, as well as how they compensate, develop and motivate their people to execute their strategy after.

Janna holds a BA (Honours) in Psychology, a B. ED and M. ED in adult education, all from the University of New Brunswick. In addition, Janna is a graduate of Royal Roads University as a Certified Executive Coach and an active member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Human Resources Association of New Brunswick (HRANB).

Michelle Levesque

Expert Adviser, Staffing & Strategic HR


Michelle brings a fresh, rich experience of over 28 years as a leader and motivator. She is proficient at succesfully building teams and provoking and managing organizational change in various industries such as the energy and healthcare sectors, public and post-secondary education, ensuring optimal performance at all levels while in senior leadership roles in the fields of Human Resources, Communication, Administration and Performance Optimization. She is an adept facilitator, with demonstrated success in collective agreement analysis and collective bargaining planning and negotiation as well as non-union employee relations practices that maintain healthy direct relationships with employees.

As a coach, HR consultant and facilitator, Michelle’s unwavering dedication is to support executives and high-level leadership teams in their pursuit of personal and professional success. She focuses on leadership development and co-creating strong, sustainable coaching cultures within organizations in order to maximize the probability of personal and organizational success. Michelle’s talent is creating trusting, collaborative partnerships and learning environments directed at achieving efficiencies and results while infusing fun along the way!

Fluently bilingual, Michelle earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick. She is a Certified Executive Coach through Royal Roads University. She is Green Belt Certified in Lean Six Sigma. Michelle has earned a Certificate in Negotiation, Mediation and Conflict Resolution from Saint Mary’s University as well as a Certificate in Health Services Management from the Canadian Healthcare Association. She is a member of the international Coach Federation.

Pierre Simoneau - CHRP

Expert Adviser, Staffing & Strategic HR

A seasoned consultant and human resources professional, pierre has extensive and successful experience working with executives and employees in leadership roles, in the public and private sectors for over 30 years Pierre was responsible for providing HR services to over 300 employees and 500+ contractor employees in NB and québec. A result oriented human resources professional, Pierre has broad knowledge and experience at a senior management level. his strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as leadership qualities have provided clients with value added consulting services.

Pierre is the president of provincial council board of directors of the human resouces association of new brunswick (HRANB) and also a member of the board of directors on the canadian council of the hr associations. ( CCHRA)

Pierre’s expertises includes:
change managements, performance management & effectiveness; recruiting, succession management, remuneration & benefits human resources structures.

 

Sylvie Gonin - CRIC

Recruiter and Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant

Located in central Quebec, Sylvie offers bilingual services in recruitment and immigration advice to the company and represents them with the legal stages with the Canadian government authorities for temporary work permit applications, extension permit for specialized labor and highly skilled labor qualified.
